What’s inside, and why it matters
Inside, the filament is housed in a quartz envelope. This stuff can handle the extreme heat without softening or failing. We coat the glass red to filter out the shorter wavelengths, so you get a cleaner, more targeted infrared output. And the R7s connector? That’s the standard for a reason. It handles the high current, and the installation is straightforward. Just slide it in and wire it up. No fuss.
Where it shines—and what to keep in mind
