We’ve built replacement lamps specifically for Sidel SBO 10 and Krones Contiform machines. They’re designed to be simple drop-in replacements that hit the same heat density as the originals, just without the “brand name” markup. The technical side of things These lamps have to work hard. They run on high-voltage circuits to blast the kind of infrared radiation needed to heat preforms fast. We use high-wattage quartz glass so the heat actually goes where it belongs—into the PET wall—instead of just warming up your machine frame. The best part? You won’t see those annoying “pearlized” spots in the bottle shoulders. It’s just a clean, consistent heat. And don’t worry about the fit. We made sure the lengths and connectors are exact. You won’t be spending your afternoon messing with wiring or bending brackets just to get a lamp into the oven. It just fits. Built to actually last Heat is brutal on equipment. To handle the shock of rapid heating and cooling, we use heavy-wall quartz tubes. We also use a halogen cycle inside the glass to stop tungsten from clouding the tube over time. This keeps the light clear and the heat steady for thousands of hours. Now, if you’re running thicker, heavy-wall containers, you might need our coated versions. These shift the IR wavelength so the heat sinks deeper into the plastic. It stops the surface from scorching while the core is still cold. Getting them running Installation is as easy as it gets. Pull the old tube out, slide the new one in, and wire it up. Done. One quick tip, though. If you decide to crank up the wattage to squeeze out faster cycle times, keep an eye on your cooling blowers. More heat means more stress. Just double-check your oven exhaust temps so you don’t accidentally bake the surrounding electrical components.
